About two months ago i saw an online product that i was interested in and decided to private message the seller. I noticed that the header of their message tab read "typically responds in a few minutes."

I eagerly awaited their feedback which i finally received three days later. Yip! At this time i was no longer interested in the product.
What you can do to help build reliability is send an automatic response stating " I receive your message and would respond shortly" or you can provide a link with FAQ's, and if it does not satisfy the customer's question/s they could always hit the NO button so you could investigate and respond to them shortly.
